Printing Works

Under planning

Smell the ink and feel the rhythm of the machines. Enter the heart of The Norwegian Printing Museum – The Printing Works.

On the second floor of the museum you will find a wide selection of old printing presses, among other things the handpress from c. 1850 and the quick presses Johanniberg and Heidelberg. The floor will be furnished as a proper printing works, with hand composing, composing machines, proofing, making-up, imposition and not least bookbinding. Experience the craftsmanship of the printing works, with the tools, machines, traditions and processes.
